Ladies man Simon Cowell SLAPPED after pushing X Factor contestant to reveal her age

He has always prided himself on being a ladies man.

But smooth Simon Cowell has come unstuck on the latest X Factor auditions – and got a SLAP from one of the contestants who thought he was out of line.

Our mole at the Manchester try-outs tells us: “The woman looked like she was in her 60s but wasn’t willing to share her age with the judges.

“Simon kept pushing her for a number and so she ran up to him on the panel and slammed her hands down on his arms, giving him a bit of a slap.

“She told him he should never ask a lady her age, but the other judges were pretty shocked at her slapping Simon.”

Aside from this slap, we hear auditions have been going pretty well, with many of the crew thinking the talent is “better than last year” and although someone says that every year, there are definitely a few strong contenders that have been found up north.

One guy, we are interested to hear more about is a singer bosses think could be the new Harry Styles who they found in Manchester – a singer called Harrison Styles!

The youngster wowed bosses with an audition at the weekend, with insiders describing him as young, cool and casual.
Our mole added: “He was telling the judges he wanted to prove he was a star like his namesake.

“There was a lot of amusement about his name but Harrison was very serious about his singing.”

The X Factor will be back at the end of August with Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.

Dermot O’Leary is also back as host but you can bet Cowell will mess with the format in a bid to change things up a little.

Cowell is also keen to make his show the number one talent contest on ITV after they bought The Voice and screened it at the start of 2017.
